How Does Your Card Work?
Have you ever paid for a coffee by tapping your phone on the eftpos terminal? Then you have already used NFC technology.
NFC (or Near Field Communication) allows Your Card to communicate with smartphones to safely and quickly pass your profile details.
Are all phones compatible?
Your Card works on both iPhone and Android and almost all phones made after 2014 will now allow for NFC capability. You can view the full capability list here.
If you do find an older phone that does not accept NFC, you can use the QR code on the back.
How do I tap on an iPhone?
The best way to tap on an iPhone is by moving the card horizontally at the top of the phone.
At times, user settings and types of phone cases can interfere with Your Card. If you have issues, we suggest using the QR code instead.
How do I tap on an Android?
The best way to tap on an Android is by moving the card vertically in the middle of the phone.
At times, user settings and types of phone cases can interfere with Your Card. If you have issues, we suggest using the QR code instead.
Do I need to have multiple Your Cards?
No, the benefit of Your Card is you only need one.
Simply tap Your Card on a smart phone for contactless and instant transfer of your digital business card details. Then once you’re done, you can put it back into your wallet.
Does the other person need an app?
No apps are required. Simple tap Your Card or have them scan your QR code using their camera and they will instantly have your profile details.
How long does it take to receive Your Card?
All orders placed before 3pm for ready to print items, will be shipped the same day.
For items that require customisation and printing, you will have to allow an extra 3-5 days.
Are there any monthly or ongoing fees?
No, there are no ongoing fees for Your Card, however, you can opt-in via the app to be a Pro user which does have a subscription fee.
Where is Your Card based?
Your Card is based in Geelong, Victoria. All our custom cards are printed locally.
How are the custom card printed?
We use UV printing on all of our custom cards. UV Printing is a unique method of digital printing utilising ultraviolet (UC) light to cure ink almost as soon as it hits the Your Card surface. UV Printing is extremely durable, scratch, chemical and solvent resistant.
Can I change my details?
Yes! That’s one of the huge benefits of Your Card. If any of your details change or you want to direct your clients through a new marketing stream, simple login to your account in the Your Card app and instantly change your details.
Pro users can set up two profiles, so you can change details depending on the setting with a single click.
What details can I add on my profile?
Your contact details, biography, social media handles, music profiles, payment detail and more can be changed on your account at any time.
Add files for clients to download like menus for diners to check out, catalogues for your products, etc. Your account also allows you to add custom links, making the opportunities for what you can change limitless.

Can I get a custom designed Your Card?
Yes, you can! Just purchase one of our Designed By Us cards and our talented design team will create something amazing for you. We won't print until you are 100% happy with it 🙂
Can I do my own design and have Your Card print?
Yes, of course. Order one of our Create Your Own cards, and you can create your card online using our customiser. Alternatively, contact support@yourcard.au and we can send you a template and specifications you need.
Is there a discount if I require multiple cards?
Yes, if you have an order of 5 or more cards, contact sales@yourcard.au and we can offer specialised pricing for your requirements.
